![]() This might have changed in later revisions but that's the case for me lol. I would suggest playing on the battery when possible because performance is just all around better on it. Best of luck, enjoy your win 2!Īside from one trick that I know of to make the gpu run on max performance mode when on battery, which is in the bios at chipset->system agent configuration->graphics configuration->gfx low power mode and set it to disabled. 60mv seems to be the most popular under volt I've seen people hit on here, but if you run into crashes or problems you can tweak the value accordingly. Undervolting is an important part of boosting performance as well, the lowest stable value you can undelvolt to is different for everyone so it might take some experimenting. I try to stay around 9 watts for intensive games, you can go higher if you want but your battery mileage may be affected by the heat. I would also advise not going all the way to 12 watts because the stock cooler doesnt handle it very well, and prolonged use of 12 watts can damage your battery over a long period of time. Just be mindful of temps, and make sure it's not getting too hot. Be aware that your win 2 may get a bit hotter when this is disabled, since it won't be doing the throttling it does when it's enabled to keep it cooler. ![]() It's located in advanced->thermal configuration->dptf configuration and disable dptf at the top. ![]() In some rare instances, you need to disable dptf in the bios for the tdp changes to actually work.
